The Myths about SoulMates

Wikipedia says… “Soulmate is a term sometimes used to designate someone with whom one has a feeling of deep and natural affinity , love, intimacy, sexuality, spirituality, and/or compatibility. A related concept is that of the twin flame or twin soul – which is thought to be the ultimate soulmate, the one and only other half of one’s soul, for which all souls are driven to find and join. However, not everyone who uses these terms intends them to carry such mystical connotations.

Other people believe that the term soulmate means souls with whom we travel between different lives with, meaning that friends, family, lovers and even enemies in this life are equally connected to you in past and future lives, as their souls travel with yours.”

Sounds very mystical and magical doesn’t it, so of course everyone wants to find their one true love, their SoulMate. And of course when you feel intense love for someone, that means they must be the one because you only feel this kind of love for your SoulMate.

But what happens when you feel this intense energy and love (telling everyone that you have found your SoulMate or Twin Flame), but then the relationship falls apart. So you have to get out there and search again and find your SoulMate (and again tell everyone that you have found your SoulMate or Twin Flame), until you break up and the search begins again.

Now Twin Flame is said to be the ultimate SoulMate who shares your Soul. This is a very ‘out there’ kind of theory and desire for the spiritual realms that most people do not have access to.

No wonder people are so confused with the term SoulMate.

Let’s break it down into logical thought. Soul = your inner being or spiritual self. Mate = best friend or buddy (Australian meaning) or partner (husband, wife, significant other).

Have you ever felt an instant connection with someone? A new acquaintance, girlfriend (good friend of the same sex). Have you ever felt that you instantly know this person on a deeper level, where you feel safe and with a person you can trust fully and completely. This is a SoulMate (Australian mate), a soul friend or soul family member who comes to join your life to share a moment or lifetime.

Have you ever been zapped by love energy, that made you weak at the knees? Or felt an overwhelming love for someone? This is a SoulMate (partner), and the energy you felt was a direct connection between the deeper parts of each of you (Souls).

What about those we fall deeply in love with, marry and then undergo traumatic relationships with. They too are a SoulMate (partner).

Our lives are filled with SoulMates, dear friends and lovers who come to visit this lifetime for a variety of reasons. There is a reason each one appears and leaves at certain times, as it is indeed a journey to find the perfect one for you this lifetime.

When we take a journey into love with Heal Your Heart – A Journey to Find Your SoulMate, we not only open to discover that one special person who we are meant to be with this lifetime, but also the bigger picture meaning of all past relationships, what they were about, why they didn’t work, how that person only had some of the parts of our true love, and how they were a dear friend who came to help us learn something about ourselves, how special we really are.

You will physically experience energy, connections, how to connect, the meaning of relationships, and as you heal and release your relationship hurts, develop a deeper understanding and knowing of SoulMates, for yourself.

Would you prefer to dream of having the ultimate relationship in theory or have it in your physical hands?
